An experienced teacher, from individual lessons to chamber music coaching and string sectionals, Kay believes in a tailored approach, and is happy to work with complete beginners of all ages, or players coming or returning to music at a later point in their lives. She has coached at Aldeburgh Young Musicians, the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Leeds College of Music and the RNCM in addition to private tuition. She believes that training the ears is as important as training the hands, cultivating a love of music in a fun and informal environment.
